Our compassionate approach
Founded by Alana, an experienced Registered Nurse, Now and Forever Care brings a personal touch to aged care. Having supported her own family members at home, Alana understands the challenges and the profound need for accessible, exceptional in-home help. We’re here to provide that personal connection and unwavering support, now and forever. Alana has always been compassionate about the ageing population. She started in the aged care sector at 19. She started as an assistant in nursing (AIN) in aged care and dementia units. She quickly noticed she could make a change and loved the interactions in aged care facilities. Alana felt the need to study more to help make a difference. She studied her diploma of nursing and became an Endorsed enrolled nurse (EEN) and started making an impact working in aged care sector. Alana specialized in palliative care and support for families during these hard time.
Sadly, Alana's fathers became terminally ill with cancer. Alana became his carer and home nurse until he passed away at home. During this time, Alana continued to study at University and became a Registered Nurse (RN). devastatingly after her father became deceased, Alana decided to try to help the ageing population in general practice. She begin with aged care assessments, health checks, strength building and social support. There she noticed gaps between getting her patients assessed for services and providers available.
